Haledon Officer Shot While Conducting Drill At Passaic County Shooting Range
A Haledon police officer is recovering after an accidental shooting during a rifle course at the Passaic County shooting range this week, authorities said. The officer was conducting a drill during the week-long course when a round discharged into his leg on Wednesday, Sept. 10 around 12:45 p.m. at the range in Paterson, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said. The Officer was taken to St. Joseph’s Medical Center for treatment for injuries that were described as non-life threatening.

Man, 18, Woman, 22, Lied About Accidental Shooting In Bergen County: Prosecutor
An 18-year-old Bergen County man who accidentally shot himself and a 22-year-old woman who went along with his story that he'd been involved in a drive-by shooting are both facing charges. Damien I. Flores was taken to St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson for treatment of a gunshot wound on Friday, July 26, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Worker From Fairview Falls 25 Feet Off Glen Rock Roof
A worker survived a 25-foot fall from the roof of a Glen Rock home on Thursday, authorities said. The Glen Rock Ambulance Corps took the 37-year-old Fairview man to St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson following the 8:50 a.m. mishap on Pinelynn Road, Lt. Frank Riggio said. A pair of Fair Lawn teens were taken to the hospital with significant but non life-threatening injuries after driving over a pedestrian tunnel and subsequently crashing, authorities said. Clifton PD Seek Wheelie-Popping Dirt Bike Rider Who Left Injured Friend At Crash Scene
Clifton police were seeking a dirt bike rider who fled the scene after his friend popped a wheelie and crashed into a parked car, sending him to the hospital, authorities said. The two were riding against traffic when the crash occurred at the corner of Main and Hadley Avenues around 8 p.m. Tuesday, Clifton Lt. Robert Bracken said.
