A 37-year-old Hawthorne man was found lying on the side of the same Glen Rock road twice, just over 24 hours later, highly-intoxicated each time, police said. A concern citizen reported finding the man lying next to a tree on the side of Doremus Avenue near Faber Field around 10:22 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, Glen Rock Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. A drunk and disorderly man stopped by Wayne police turned out to be a convicted purse snatcher who fled from custody in Connecticut, authorities said. Responding to a report of an inebriated man yelling at people near the busy intersection of Berdan Avenue and Hamburg Turnpike, Sgt. A 49-year-old Pennsylvania man was "incredibly intoxicated" and burning $100 bills in a fire pit after shooting his dog then putting it on a hot barbecue grill, recent news reports say. A man with a history of abuse was charged with harassment after calling a woman 45 times in one day, according to Pennsylvania State Police in Cumberland County. Brian Knouse, 44 of Mechanicsburg, PA, was arrested in South Middletown Township on April 26 after attempting to contact a woman 45 times in a 24-hour period, police say. A New Jersey man was drunk when he got into a brawl at a rest stop in Indiana and then punched a responding police officer, authorities said. Parwinder Kang, 42, of Mt. Holly, battered another individual at the Pilot Travel Center on Warrenton Road near Haubstadt Indiana around 7:20 p.m. on Jan. 16, the Gibson County Sheriff's Office said in a release. A drunken Sussex County man spit, coughed on and tried to bite police trying to arrest him after finding him outside of a local business Tuesday, authorities said.
