It began with a 911 call received by Public Safety Telecommunicator Stephany Estrada at 10:35 a.m. Oct. 12: A 38-year-old Upper Boulevard resident was in labor, the woman's husband told her. Former Ridgewood Football Player Preston Stott Dies, 18: 'Determined, Always Cracking Us Up' The Ridgewood community is mourning the loss of former football player and student Preston Stott. According to his obituary, Preston died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at 18 years old. He graduated from Ridgewood High School in 2023, and was a linebacker on the school's football team.
