Person Found In Hudson River Identified As Newark Resident Authorities in Hudson County have identified the person found floating in the Hudson River early this month as a 21-year-old Newark resident, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office announced Friday.  The remains of Delali Amenyedo were discovered Nov. 5 at a marina in Jersey City. Authorities had asked for the public's help identifying the person.  The cause and manner of death were still under investigation Friday, the prosecutor's office also said.

Update: Person Found In Hudson River Identified UPDATE, Nov. 15: The person has been identified  The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office is investigating after the body of a female was recovered from the Hudson River in Jersey City Tuesday afternoon.  The body, which the prosecutor's office said was badly decomposed, was recovered by the Jersey City Fire Department at the Newport Marina.  The cause and manner of death were under investigation Wednesday morning.  The prosecutor’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the case with assistance from the Jersey City Police Department. Authorities Ask For Public's Help Identifying Woman Found In Hudson River Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez is asking for the public's help identifying a woman whose body was found in the Hudson River in Hoboken early this month.  Police and firefighters retrieved the body from the water near Lackawanna Terminal around 3 p.m. Oct. 1.  Authorities released a composite sketch (attached). She appears to be dark-skinned, 5 feet tall and about 130 lbs. Body Found Floating In Hudson River Off Hoboken Authorities are trying to identify a person found dead in the Hudson River near Hoboken on Tuesday*, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said.  Police received a call from someone who reported seeing a body floating near the Lackawanna Terminal around 3 p.m. The Hoboken Fire Department assisted in the retrieval of the remains, the prosecutor's office said.  The person appears to be a woman aged 35 to 50.
