Unabomber Ted Kaczynski Dies By Suicide, Sources Say, NJ Businessman Was Among Victims
The serial-killing domestic terrorist who infamously became known as the Unabomber took his own life in his cell at a federal medical prison, according to a report. U.S. Bureau of Prisons records confirm that Theodore John “Ted” Kaczynski, 81, died on Saturday, June 10. His body was found in the cell around 8 a.m., a bureau spokesperson said. Philly Teen's NJ Kidnappers Learn Their Fate
Two men convicted of kidnapping a Philadelphia teenager and holding him for ransom in New Jersey will spend 40 years each in federal prison, authorities announced. Eduardo Castelan-Pardo, 39, of Leonia, New Jersey, and Jose Ochoa, 32, of Moreno Valley, California were sentenced to four decades behind bars, said US Attorney Jacqueline Romero on Wednesday, Oct. 19. Four Inmates Escape From Federal Prison In Virginia
A search was under way for four inmates who escaped from a federal prison in Virginia Saturday, June 18, officials said. Corey Branch, Tavares Lajuane Graham, Lamonte Rashawn Willis and Kareem Allen Shaw went missing from the Federal Correctional Complex Petersburg’s satellite camp in Hopewell around 1:45 a.m., the FBI of Prisons said in a news release. Stroke Victim 'Dumped' By Prison Guards At Bus Stop, Massive Search Launched: Attorney
A recent stroke victim with limited ability to speak has been missing since he was released from prison and was expected to arrive in Washington DC, according to his attorney. Kevin Flythe, 52, was released from the FCI Gilmer prison in Glennville, WV on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, according to his family's attorney, Claire Madill. Flythe was resentenced to time-served on Jan. 25, because government officials conceded he was non-dangerous.
