More than 280 students and campers attend the Turrell Center a year, an extension of Children's Aid Family Services on Robin Road.
The project received additional support from employee volunteers from SUEZ, who demolished the previous surfaces that had been in place for nearly 20 years.
“Our priority is the safety of the children that attend the Turrell Center,” President & CEO of Children’s Aid and Family Services Jerry Binney said.
“The new safety surfacing is a tremendous improvement to the Turrell Center and will help keep the children safe and active."
Children’s Aid and Family Services is a leading nonprofit human services organization serving northern New Jersey. Its mission is to preserve, protect, and when needed, provide families.
Motivated by compassion and in partnership with the community, we make positive lasting differences in the lives of those we serve.
"We are very grateful to the Copper Beech Foundation," Binney said, "and the employees from SUEZ for their enormous contributions to this project.”
