The event, from noon to 4 p.m., coincides with Hackensack’s annual Make-A-Difference Day.

To find the clean-up group, take River Road to Johnson Park, just north of the intersection of River Road and E. Anderson Street, and look for the group's white truck and tent.

All volunteers will need are clothes they won’t mind getting dirty and a reusable water bottle. Hackensack Riverkeeper will bring everything else needed to get the job done.

To register, call 201-968-0808.
