37-Year-Old Accident Victim, 'Big Mike' Severin, Father Of 2 Young Daughters Michael J. Severin of Barnegat loved hunting and the outdoors. But more than anything, his wife and two daughters were his world. Severin, 37, died Saturday in a single-car accident in Eagleswood.  He was born on Nov. 20, 1982, in Point Pleasant and grew up in Brick. He worked for Ocean County Utilities Authority in West Creek.
