Wrong Place, Wrong Time: Man Faces Weapons Charge As Authorities Make Murder Arrest In Trenton A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Trenton last fall, and a man who was with him at the time was charged on a weapons offense, authorities said. Killed in the shooting was Chron Jenks, 34, of Ewing, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. Authorities ID 39-Year-Old Man Shot, Killed In Trenton Authorities have identified the man shot and killed in Trenton. The victim in yesterday’s homicide on St. Joe’s Avenue in Trenton has been identified as David Johnson, 39, of Trenton, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office. At approximately 5:25 p.m. on Wednesday, Trenton police received a Shot Spotter activation for the 300 block of St. Joe’s Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found Johnson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  The victim was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center and pronounced dead a short time later. Trenton Man, 20, Arrested In Fatal Shooting, Prosecutor Says A 20-year-old man from Trenton has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting last weekend, authorities said. Tyrell Williams was arrested Thursday afternoon in Trenton by members of the Mercer County Homicide Task Force, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. He is charged with first-degree murder and several weapons offenses in connection with the death of David Williams, 36. The alleged shooter and victim are not related, Onofri said. Trenton Shooting Victim ID'd, 29th Homicide In 2020 Authorities have identified the man shot multiple times, and killed, late Friday. Hussain Abdullah, 35, of Trenton died of gunshot wounds after the shooting on the 200 block of Spring Street, according to Casey DeBlasio, a spokeswoman for the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.  Trenton police responded to a Shot Spotter activation at 11 p.m., DeBlasio said. Abdullah was found in the street.  He was taken to an  area hospital where he was pronounced dead, she said.
