Jersey Shore House Fire, Man's Death Ruled Not Suspicious: Officials
An Ocean City house fire and the death of a person found at the home are not considered suspicious, officials said. A city spokesperson said there were no "suspicious or intentional" factors about the fire. It happened on the 1900 block of Asbury Avenue at around 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 15. Ronald Reichenbach, 63, was found dead at the house. The cause of his death was pending a toxicology report. Investigators were still working to find out what started the fire.

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said Tuesday that the death of a 39-year-old woman found in a backyard pool the day before is being investigated. Saddle River police were called to the $2.7 million home on Fox Hedge Road off East Allendale Road at 4:26 p.m. Monday, July 31. Police ID Body Found In Central Jersey Lake
The body of a 36-year-old man from Central Jersey was recovered from a lake, authorities said. The deceased man was identified as Trinidad Perez, of Jamesburg, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone. On Sunday, June 11, at about 10:30 a.m., his body was found in Thompson Park Lake. Perez had no obvious signs of trauma to his body, Ciccone said. A 74-year-old woman was killed in a house fire early Wednesday, March 8 in Burlington County, authorities said. Authorities have identified the man found drowned in a Jersey Shore lagoon. The elderly man was found floating face down along Laurel Boulevard, Lanoka Harbor, at 1:22 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28, according to Lacey Police Capt. Human remains were found by a transportation department worker on Route 80, state police confirmed. The NJDOT worker was mowing the grass when the remains were found near the eastbound lanes on the right shoulder in the grass at milepost 16.6 in Allamuchy shortly after 12:25 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, NJSP Trooper Charles Marchan told DailyVoice.com. The remains were identified as those of a Black male, Marchan said. The cause of death is unknown. The incident is under investigation. Additional details were not released.

A Bridgewater man was found dead in his car behind a QuickChek in Somerset County early this week, authorities said.
