Summer Sheldrick said on Facebook Meep was let out to use the bathroom at 12:15 a.m. on New Year's Day on Budd Street in Morristown, but she got spooked by fireworks, got loose and ran off.  Sheldrick said by the time she realized Meep was loose, she was already far gone.
