A Pennsylvania college student from New Jersey was found dead on campus over the weekend, according to officials and recent news reports. Christian Samay (Class of 2024) died on Saturday, March 30 at Bucknell University, according to the school's president, John C. Bravman. "This is an unspeakable loss for the Bucknell community, and our hearts go out Christian’s family and friends," Bravman said. Authorities were trying to identify a man whose body was found at the scene of a destructive fire at an auto repair shop in Hawthorne. The blaze ignited among tires, pallets and debris, then spread to three trucks behind Luscher’s Automotive between 4th and Lafayette avenues shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, Hawthorne Fire Chief Joseph Speranza said.
