Ringwood Joins Rankings Of 100 Safest U.S. Cities

RINGWOOD, N.J. -- Ringwood this year joined dozens of New Jersey municipalities among the 100 Safest Cities in the America ranked by a national security company.

At No. 69, Safewise.com says, Ringwood is "a scenic town that its residents work hard to preserve."

"The annual 'Caring for Ringwood Day' is an event that gets townsfolk together to help clean up litter and beautify the city."

Safewise compiled crime statistics from the FBI and conducted its own research on public safety public health, and educational offerings to determine its rankings.
