Mercedes Figueroa-Muklevicz, 64, Wanaque Resident

WANAQUE, N.J. -- Mercedes Figueroa-Muklevicz, of Wanaque, died on Wednesday, Jan. 11.  She was 64.

She was chief human resources officer and vice president for The Hartz Mountain Corporation, in Secaucus.

Figueroa-Muklevicz is survived by her husband, Anthony Muklevicz; brothers- and sisters-in-law Curt and Barbara Muklevicz, and Joseph and Roberta Muklevicz; aunt Iris Dale Taylor; and cousins Anthony Dale and his wife Roma, and Linda Smith and her husband Tim.

She is also survived by her close friends Joseph and Esther Vaccaro, Debbie and Gene Davis, and Larry and Bev Delli Santi, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Sunday evening, Jan. 15, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, in Paramus. Cremation was private.
