Three New Jersey Lottery tickets good for $50,000 and one for $100,000 were sold across the state. The tickets from the Saturday, Jan. 9, drawing were purchased with the Power Play option, multiplying the prize to $100,000. 19: Class Action Suit Filed Against New Jersey Lab Raided By FBI
At least four people have joined a class-action lawsuit filed against a North Jersey company accused of selling bogus COVID-19 tests in at least one South Jersey location, NorthJersey.com reports. Filed Dec. 15 in Atlantic County Superior Court, the suit alleges Infinity Diagnostic Labs -- headquartered in Teterboro -- advertised antibody tests as $75 rapid coronavirus tests. The tests were distributed out of Infinity's Ventnor City location, which shuttered following an FBI raid earlier this month, the news outlet says. These New Jersey MVC Centers Are By Appointment Only Starting Monday
New Jersey drivers' prayers have been answered. Staring Monday, Nov. 2., the following Motor Vehicle Commissions centers will be by appointment only: Cherry Hill, Hazlet, Jersey City, Lakewood, Manahawkin, Medford, Somerville, Springfield, Turnersville and Wallington. No walk-in customers will be accepted at those locations. Designated licensing centers are only taking appointments for commercial driver's license renewals and license transfers, for drivers who recently moved to New Jersey. A Powerball ticket good for $150,000 was sold in Monmouth County. The ticket from the Wednesday, Oct. 21 drawing matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn. Nearly 2 Dozen MVC Agencies At Capacity, Another Location Closes After Employee Tests Positive
Nearly two dozen of New Jersey's Motor Vehicle Commission agencies agencies were closed as of 11:30 Monday morning after reaching capacity. Additionally, a Newark center was closed for two weeks after an employee tested positive for COVID-19. The Newark Regional Service Center shut last Friday and is expected to reopen Oct. 16. Police: Middlesex County Woman Beats Rival In Street, Charge With Violating NJ

A Middlesex County resident dragged another woman dating the same man out of her house and began beating her in the street before police came to the victim's rescue, authorities said. Hazlet police arrested Katie Orszulski, 29, of the Parlin section of Old Bridge, after she broke into the victim's home and assaulted her, state Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal said. Orszulski was charged with burglary, assault, criminal mischief and violating Gov. Phil Murphy's coronavirus orders.

Along with the increase of coronavirus cases in New Jersey are growing numbers of people charged with crimes directly tied to the pandemic, authorities said.
