Wyckoff PD: Cardiologist From Franklin Lakes Charged With Route 208 DWI
A cardiologist affiliated with Hackensack University Medical Group was charged with DWI after Wyckoff police stopped him no Route 208, authorities said. Officer Kenneth Marcoux stopped 54-year-old Felix Daileysterling of Franklin Lakes after receiving an alert from a neighboring town of a possibly intoxicated driver heading north on the highway in a black Tesla, Police Chief David Murphy said. Dailysterling, formerly of Guttenberg, “was having difficulty maintaining a lane of travel” and “displayed signs of impairment” after the stop, Murphy said. Bergen, Passaic Buses Collide In Lincoln Tunnel, Dozens Injured
A total of 32 people complained of injury after two NJ Transit buses -- one originating in Oradell and the other in Wayne -- collided in the Lincoln Tunnel heading into Manhattan, the FDNY reported. Both buses continued through the tube and emerged on the city side, where firefighters and EMS conducted triage. Nine of the 25 passengers on the #193 bus out of Wayne reported injuries, as well as 23 of the 37 aboard the #165 , NJ Transit's Nancy Snyder said. None were serious, authorities said. Fair Lawn Sisters From Family Of Educators Are Both 'Teachers Of The Year'
FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- Two sisters from Fair Lawn were both named "Teacher of the Year" in New Jersey. Kelly Braff, 29, teaches Kindergarten at the Radburn Elementary School. Her sister, 27-year-old Tracy Osback, teaches first grade in Guttenberg. Kelly was the first of the two to discover she earned this year's award (representing the Radburn School).
