Khalif Toombs was sentenced on Thursday, Sept. 14 in connection with the shooting death of Lamir King, 21, also of Atlantic City, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. Toombs pleaded guilty to first-degree conspiracy to commit murder, the prosecutor said.
