Man Charged After Larceny Spree In Glen Cove A 35-year-old man was charged after a rash of larcenies on Long Island, according to police. Ten car larcenies occurred in August so far, many of these when the cars were left unlocked, according to the Glen Cove Police Department. The incidents led police to beef up their patrols in the area. Overnight Friday, Aug. 23, seven vehicles were illegally entered on the Glen Cove side of Frost Pond Road, said police.
