Man Found Asleep At Wheel Of Running Jeep In Darien Charged With DUI, Police Say A Connecticut man was charged with alleged DUI after he was found asleep behind the wheel of a running Jeep at a car dealership, police said. The incident occurred in Fairfield County at H&L Chevrolet at around 3:30 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 11, in Darien. According to Sgt. 65-Year-Old Killed In CT 2-Vehicle Crash A Connecticut resident was killed after he allegedly hit another vehicle, police said. The crash occurred in New Haven County on Tuesday, Aug. 13, in the area of 1061 Boston Post Road (Route 1) in Milford. Employee Nabbed In Abuse Case At Facility In Hudson Valley A man from the region has been charged with two counts of allegedly endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person and forcible touching. Following an investigation, Dutchess County resident Garnet G. Collins, age 50, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Sunday, Aug. 11. According to Trooper Aaron Hicks of the New York State Police, Collins was an employee at the Anderson Center for Autism in Staatsburg, a hamlet of Hyde Park. Traffic Alert: Bridge Replacement To Close Roadway In Region Drivers should note that a section of a Sullivan County roadway will be closed for a bridge replacement. The replacement will occur in the town of Cochecton on County Road 115—Odell Road. The bridge is located immediately west of the intersection of Fred White Road with County Road 115, said Dan Hurst, spokesman for Sullivan County.  This section of the roadway is scheduled to be closed to all traffic starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, and will remain closed for approximately three weeks.  Travelers will be directed on a detour route using Fred White Road and Tyler Road.
