Due out on Oct. 1, the book is the brainchild of Closter resident Ayelet Nathaniel, whose children's book "Sparkly Me" made her the best-selling author on Amazon for 16 straight weeks.
“The idea of the book is to inspire and support women,” said Nathaniel, an Israeli immigrant and mom of three. “It’s to make them feel like they’re not alone in this world and they can go on and do whatever they want.”
Originally from Beirut, Lebanon, Arlia moved to New Jersey in the late ‘70s and studied early childhood development.
After purchasing Jack in the Box Schools, Inc., she has become a known and trusted caretaker for children in preschool, starting with newborns.
The New Jersey, New York, California and Connecticut women all share personal stories of “personal triumph, moments of grief, support, growth and ultimately, success,” Nathaniel said on her website.
“Owning a business is very difficult and many women feel very isolated,” she said. “At some point they decided not to pursue their dream because it’s just so hard.
“Each one of us comes from different backgrounds and experience difficulties but this book shows that it doesn’t matter where you come from.”
