A 61-year-old Towaco resident was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a young boy over the course of 10 years, authorities said. Juan Fernandez performed multiple sexual acts on the boy from when he was six years old until he was 16, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. A man was arrested for pretending to be a student at a Morris County high school, authorities said. Charles Banaciski III, 19, was seen on surveillance footage entering Montville Township High School around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said in a joint release on Friday. Threat Called Into Morris County High School Under Investigation, Police Say
A threat was called into a Morris County high school, according to police who are investigating alongside other local officials. Montville Township High School received the telephonic threat on Thursday, May 12, the Montville Township Police Department said. The threat did not appear credible, and no injuries were reported, police said. The investigation remains active and is being handled by local police, as well as the Morris County Prosecutor's Office and the Morris County Sheriff's Office. Eryun Dang, pictured above, was last seen on Chapin Road near Route 46 west in Montville around 9 p.m. Wednesday, township police said. Dang resides in the Rachel Gardens area, police said. A pedestrian was struck and killed while crossing Route 46 in Morris County Wednesday night, authorities said.
