Talented Somerset County Musician Emily Raber Dies At 23 Beloved Somerset County high school graduate and gifted musician Emily Jin Raber (Jin Silan) died Friday, April 28 at age 23. Born in Shantou, China, Emily was adopted when she was 18 months old, her obituary says. Emily attended Christ the King School and Hillsborough High School, where she was known for her athletic ability in track and skateboarding. She later went to Raritan Valley Community College and Rowan University before becoming self-employed as a caretaker for children. Hunterdon County Motorcyclist Dies In Crash, 41 Beloved Hunterdon County motorcyclist and technical school graduate Jeremiah J. Kratz died in a crash on Friday, June 10. He was 41. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jeremiah graduated from Warren County Technical School in Washington and lived in Whitehouse at the time of his death, his obituary and social media pages say. Jeremiah was known for being a talented craftsman and machinist, as well as his passion for cars, and was often referred to as a “gearhead,” according to his memorial.
