Update: Tree Worker Fatally Struck By Branch In Morris Township A man working on Isaias storm cleanup in Morris Township was struck and killed by a branch that fell in a wooded area, authorities said. Jody Terwilliger, 58, of Shohola, Pennsylvania was struck by the branch near Craig Road and Sussex Avenue around 9:10 a.m. Thursday, NorthJersey.com reports. EMS crews performed CPR on Terwilliger before transporting him to Morristown Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead, authorities said in the report. Terwilliger was an employee at Nelson Tree Service, the report said. His death was determined to be accidental.

Man Walking Bicycle In Morris Township Struck By Driver, 91, Hospitalized With Serious Injuries A bicyclist hit by a car while walking his bike across a Morris Township street was in stable condition in the hospital as of Monday morning, local authorities said. The 54-year-old man was walking his bike across Craig Road at Sussex Avenue when he was struck by a car driven by a 91-year-old woman around 5:25 p.m. last Saturday, Morris Township police Lt. Robert Shearer said. The bicyclist was taken to Morristown Medical Center with serious injuries, Shearer said. Charges for the driver were pending, according to Shearer.
