Boy Embedded In Windshield Airlifted, Bergen County Driver Charged: Ocean Prosecutor An 11-year-old boy was flown to the hospital after he was struck by a 19-year-old Bergen County driver who authorities said tried to flee the Seaside Heights scene on foot. Giancarlos Fernandez, of Hasbrouck Heights, was heading west on Freemont Avenue at a high rate of speed in a 2012 Infinity G37, when he struck the boy riding his bike around 6:50 p.m. on Friday, May 26, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Morris County Native, Beloved Uncle Robert 'Bobby' Kelly Jr. Dies, 37 Morris County native and beloved uncle Robert “Bobby” M. Kelly Jr. died at Community Medical Center in Toms River Feb. 28 at the age of 37. Kelly was born in Denville and lived in Parsippany for most of his life, his obituary says. Kelly was known for his love of fishing and spending time near the shore. He moved to Seaside Heights about four years ago and had worked as the maintenance manager for Island Beach Motor Lodge in Seaside Park, his memorial says.
