Police: Mother, Toddler Struck By Car In Morris County Crosswalk A mother and her 4-year-old child were struck by a car while walking in a marked crosswalk in Morris County Tuesday morning, authorities said. The 41-year-old mother was walking with her child in the crosswalk at Main Street and Coleman Avenue in Chatham when they were hit by a 22-year-old man from Gaithersburg, Maryland just after 7:05 a.m., Chatham Police said. Both the mother and child were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
