Pilot Crash Lands At Princeton Airport A pilot attempting to land at Princeton Airport struck a tree due to gusty winds early on Wednesday, August 9, police said. Montgomery Police responded to the airport just before 9 a.m. for the reported crash and found a single-engine Cessna disabled on Airpark Road, near the entrance. The pilot was attempting to land when a gust of wind blew the plane off its course. The pilot then tried to gain altitude and struck a tree on the south side of Airpark Road, police said. The Glen Rock victim told borough police he thought he had an agreement to purchase a 2004 Cessna 182T for $200,000 through a website called planecheck.com, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. As part of the deal, he told police, he sent the purported seller a $10,000 non-refundable deposit.
