: Emergency Crews Cross Boonton Reservoir To Rescue Injured Pyramid Mountain Hiker
Emergency crews from Morris County ventured deep into the woods and crossed the Boonton Reservoir to rescue an injured hiker Monday afternoon. The Montville Police Department dispatched the Montville Fire Department and the First Aid Squad to Pyramid Mountain after receiving a report of the lost hiker shortly before 1 p.m., authorities said. Rescuers found the hiker “deep in the woods” and stabilized injuries before exiting the area and taking a boat across the Boonton Reservoir, Montville Township police said. Body Of Boonton Mom Found Near Reservoir
A body recovered near the Boonton Reservoir over the weekend was that of a suicidal local woman, authorities said. The 55-year-old married mother of two apparently left her car near a vehicle and foot bridge off Washington Street and Reservoir Drive, both of which run parallel to Route 287, they told Daily Voice. An NJ State Police chopper with a thermal imaging camera helped lead responders to the body, which was removed shortly before 9:45 p.m. from near the tree line of the reservoir, responders said. Authorities ID Body Pulled From Reservoir As Missing Boonton Man
A body found in the Boonton Reservoir Sunday was identified as a local man reported missing last year by local police, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said Thursday. Sean Stohl, 53, was reported missing by the Boonton Police Department last November, and was considered to be "endangered" due to pre-existing medical conditions. His body was found on the Parsippany side of the reservoir Sunday, the prosecutor's office said.

Body Recovered Near Boonton Reservoir
A body was recovered Sunday morning near the Boonton Reservoir in Parsippany, authorities said. Jack Giannetti, president of the Parsippany Rescue and Recovery, told the Daily Record police and fire were along Parsippany Boulevard before noon.
