NJ Acme Market Store To Shutter: Report Another one bites the dust: ACME Markets will be closing yet another New Jersey store, NJ Advance Media reports. The Bound Brook Road store in Middlesex will close on Feb. 3, the outlet reports. Calls placed by NJ.com to the store were not answered and a reason for the closure was not provided. Hackensack Man Struck By Car Outside Saddle Brook Supermarket Settles Suit For $1.28 Million UPDATE: A Hackensack man who suffered a traumatic brain injury when he was hit by a car in a supermarket parking lot in Saddle Brook reportedly received a $1.275 million settlement from a lawsuit. Richard Kunzweiler was 75 when he was struck by a car driven by a 66-year-old Fair Lawn man outside the Acme in Saddle Brook on Aug. 16, 2018, records show. Besides the traumatic brain injury, Kunzweiler suffered a C7 vertebral fracture, a ligament tear, a spinal cord injury and bulging discs and several broken bones, a suit filed in Superior Court in Hackensack claims. ‘Truly Amazing Friend:’ Sussex County Native Calvin Crowell Dies At Age 34 Sussex County native and High Point Regional High School graduate Calvin Shane Crowell died at his home on June 26 at the age of 34. Born in Morristown, Crowell was a lifelong resident of the Sussex-Wantage area, his obituary says. Crowell graduated from High Point Regional High School and had worked at Acme Markets in Sussex, his memorial says. Crowell is survived by his mother, Rachel Crowell; his brother, Frederick C.
