Miller graduated from Morristown High School, his obituary says.

Miller enjoyed spending time with his family, particularly his niece, MiaMarie, whom he loved unconditionally, according to his memorial.

He was known for his sweet and polite personality and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone.

In addition to his niece, Miller is survived by his parents, Mark and Angela; sister Amanda, as well as numerous extended family members and close friends.

“Jakey was the funniest and most loving guy…he will always be in my heart,” reads a tribute from Miller’s memorial.

“He was a great friend…I will always love [him].”

Miller’s graveside service was held July 6 at Holy Rood Cemetery on Whippany Road in Morristown.
