Spa Owner Arrested After Prostitution Suspected At Two Jersey Shore Massage Parlors
An Egg Harbor Township woman was accused of owning two spas in Ocean County that engaged in prostitution, authorities said. Kani Peng, 53, was charged with promoting prostitution, maintaining a nuisance, financial facilitation, and engaging in prostitution. Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer, along with the police chiefs in Barnegat and Stafford townships, announced her arrest in a joint news release on Thursday, June 27. Authorities: Middlesex County Man, 63, Lured Pre-Teenagers, Solicited Sex
A 63-year-old man from Highland Park was arrested after attempting to lure two pre-teen girls and asking them to have sex, authorities said. Genaro Gutierrez was charged on Thursday with two counts -- one for each juvenile -- of promoting prostitution, luring and endangering the welfare of a child, Middlesex County Acting Prosecutor Christopher L.C. Homeless Fugitive Arrested In South Jersey Child Luring Incident
Stafford police have re-arrested a fugitive wanted for sexually assaulting an underage girl after contacting her via a social media app. Authorities found the suspect, Charles E. Torrence, 50, in a Philadelphia homeless shelter on Saturday, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's office. Torrence was indicted on several charges, including sexual assault, two counts of luring or enticing a child and four counts of child endangerment.
