Kyle Banner, 49, of Brick Township, was sentenced on Friday, Mar. 22 to four months in Ocean County Jail, county prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced in a news release. Former Teacher Sexually Assaulted Girl Under 16 In Atlantic City: Prosecutor A Delaware man who was formerly a teacher has been sentenced to New Jersey state prison for sexually assaulting a student under 16 years old, authorities said. Thomas Herlihy, 37, of New Castle, Delaware, was sentenced Friday to seven years in a treatment facility for sex offenders, according to Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill. Herlihy’s sentence is to be served at the Avenel facility because he was found to be a repetitive and compulsive sex offender, Shill said.
