The owner and sole medical provider of a Middlesex County medical practice admitted in federal court that he pocketed nearly $2 million in a long-running series of blatant health insurance scams. Dr. Fazal Panezai, a 76-year-old cardiologist from Morganville, at one point submitted claims for a single day's worth of visits to his Matawan-Aberdeen Heart & Medical Center in May 2022 that totaled 27.9 hours, U.S. Attorney Philip R. A 57-year-old Jersey Shore doctor has been charged with sexually assaulting a patient during an acupuncture appointment, police said. Dr. Jeng K. Kuan, of Matawan, assaulted the woman during her appointment on Thursday, Jan. 25, at the Prosperity Health Center on Route 34, where he is the clinical director, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Three-Alarm Fire Guts 4 Condos In Aberdeen
A three-alarm fire damaged four condominiums in Aberdeen early Thursday, Nov. 30, authorities said. The fire broke out at about 3:10 a.m. at Wyndham Condominiums on Winchester Court, according to Aberdeen Police Chief Mattew Lloyd. Four condo units were damaged by the fire, two seriously, Lloyd said.
