Ewing Elementary School Student Dies Suddenly
The Ewing school district is mourning the unexpected loss of an elementary student. A fourth-grade student at Lore Elementary School died suddenly after a “courageous battle,” Assistant Superintendent Dr. Danita Ishibashi said in a release on the school’s website. As an extra safety precaution, clear backpacks are being distributed free in a Central Jersey school district. "We will be implementing the mandatory use of clear backpacks starting this upcoming school year for all of our schools," South River Public Schools Superintendent Sylvia Zircher wrote in a letter to parents.
