ORIGINAL STORY: More than 6,800 Monmouth County residents were without power Saturday morning, July 29.
According to the JCP&L outage map, the following counties were in the dark as of 9:50 a.m.
- Abderdeen Twp.: 2,466, restoration 2 p.m.
- Marlboro: 3,400, restoration noon
- Matawan: 830, restoration noon
A cause was not identified.
