Woodbridge police responded to the stolen car at 1:05 p.m. on Monday, July 4. After crashing the stolen car on Route 35, Jamil T. Robinson, 28, fled on foot and allegedly tried to carjack three other vehicles, the outlet said. The first crash reportedly involved a pedestrian about 6:30 a.m. Saturday at Routes 1 and 9 southbound south of Randolph Avenue, according to initial reports.  That victim was taken to Robert Wood University Hospital in New Brunswick.
