DUI Jersey Shore Driver Was Going 90 MPH In Fatal Head-On Crash: Prosecutor A 20-year-old Lakewood man was driving drunk at 90 mph when he crashed head-on killing a passenger in the other car, authorities said. Mordechai Berkowitz, was charged with aggravated manslaughter, vehicular homicide and assault by auto in the July 22 crash that killed Mexican national Juana Lopez-Hernandez, 44, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. Berkowitz also was charged with the motor vehicle offenses of driving while intoxicated, speeding, reckless driving and failure to maintain a lane, Billhimer said. Tyrell Williams was arrested Thursday afternoon in Trenton by members of the Mercer County Homicide Task Force, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. He is charged with first-degree murder and several weapons offenses in connection with the death of David Williams, 36. The alleged shooter and victim are not related, Onofri said. Jackson Woman, 25, Dead In Fiery North Jersey Crash A 25-year-old Jersey Shore driver died in a Morris County crash Saturday, authorities said. Stephanie Santora, of Jackson, was behind the wheel of an unknown vehicle that was struck by a truck pulling a utility trailer east in the left lane of Route 24 near mile post 5.7 at 12:22 p.m., NJSP Sgt. Alejandro Goez said. The impact of the crash sent Santora's car into a Toyota RAV4, which then struck a Jeep Cherokee, Goez said.
