Murphy: Flags At Half-Staff As Tribute To Slain Sayreville Councilwoman
Flags in New Jersey will fly at half-mast on Wednesday, Feb. 8 in memory of Sayreville Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour, who was killed last week.
Gov. Phil Murphy signed the flag order on Monday, Feb. 6.
“It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of Eunice Dwumfour,” Murphy said in a statement. “Her death is a tragic loss for her family, friends, the Sayreville community, and our state.
Dwumfour, 30, was found fatally shot outside her home on Wednesday, Feb. 1.
Her public memorial service is on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 6 p.m. at Epic Church International in Sayreville.
