Jersey Shore Man Charged In Fatal 86 MPH DWI Crash: Prosecutor
A 41-year-old man from the Jersey Shore has been charged with vehicular manslaughter in connection with a fatal high-speed crash in May, authorities said.
John Zinkoski, 41, of Beachwood, surrendered himself to the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, Aug. 22, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
The charges are in connection with the alcohol-related crash that occurred in Plumsted Township which resulted in the death of Judi Smith, 59, of Browns Mills, the prosecutor said.

Jersey Shore Gun Club Treasurer Stole $4K From Organization: Prosecutor
The treasurer of a Jersey Shore gun club was arrested on accusations he stole about $4,000 from the organization, authorities announced.
Michael D. Weber, 64, of Spotswood, stole the funds from the Plumstead-based Lakeside Rod and Gun Club in his role as treasurer between July 2017 and January 2021, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
Weber was responsible for collecting and depositing the club’s membership dues and paying the club’s expenses. While he did, in fact, collect the membership dues, Weber utilized the funds for his own personal benefit, police said.…
Jersey Shore Man Admits Sharing Child Pornography, Prosecutor Says
A 40-year-old Jersey Shore man has admitted possessing and distributing child pornography, authorities said.
Richard Knight, 40, of New Egypt, pleaded guilty to distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography on Tuesday, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
The State will recommend a term of five years in New Jersey
State Prison on both charges, served concurrently, with a two year period of parole ineligibility.
