Fifth-Grade Student Stabbed Near Perth Amboy Middle School, 11-Year-Old Suspect Charged A fifth-grade student was seriously hurt after being stabbed by another 11-year-old boy during a fight in Perth Amboy on Wednesday, officials said. The suspect — a sixth grader — was taken into custody Wednesday night, Feb. 22, after an investigation by the City of Perth Amboy Police Special Victims Bureau, according to a statement from the mayor's office. The victim was listed in stable condition at an area hospital on Friday, Feb. 24, according to Lisett Lebron, chief of staff to the Perth Amboy mayor. Perth Amboy Learning Disabilities Consultant Arrested On Child Pornography Charges A Monmouth County man who was working as a learning disabilities consultant with the Perth Amboy School District has been arrested on child pornography charges, authorities said. Joseph A.
