The massive fire broke out before 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24 on the 600 block of Nassau Street, North Brunswick police confirmed. Dream Well Inc., a mattress company, is located at that address. Edward Smith Jr. was trying to make a left turn from Adams Lane onto Route 1 north when an oncoming tractor-trailer struck his tow truck, North Brunswick police said.
