Hold onto your hats: The National Weather Service issued a rare February tornado warning and wind gusts up to 70 mph for parts of southern New Jersey. A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for Middlesex, Monmouth and Ocean counties on Friday. A fast-moving storm moving through the areas could produce wind gusts as strong as 70 mph, along with hail up to three-quarters of an inch in diameter, the weather service said.
