Troopers from the Marine Services Bureau were dispatched to a marsh near the Ocean City Airport around 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, when the mother of one called in the situation to police, New Jersey State Police said. Arriving firefighters were flagged down to help a burn victim who was brought to a nearby business as flames ravaged the 40-foot pleasure vessel docked in the 400 block of Dock Street around 10:30 a.m., fire officials said. Wildwood Crest EMS and AtlantiCare Paramedics treated and transported the victim to the Cape May County Armory in Cape May Court House, where the patient was transferred to a Medevac helicopter and airlifted to Jefferson University Hospital Burn Center in Philadelphia. Heroes: Responders Rescue Victim Who Fell 40 Feet Down Palisades Palisades Interstate Parkway police rescued a victim who fell 40 feet down the cliffs above the Hudson River on Saturday. The 43-year-old Brooklyn man was wearing sneakers with no treads when he slipped from an area known as Peanut Leap Falls and rolled down the mountain at the Rockland County border in Alpine shortly before 11:30 a.m., PIP Police Sgt.
