Armed Convict Arrested On Bicycle: Lawrence Police Lawrence Township Police Officer Piotr Bystrek was on routine patrol on Friday, May 31 at about 2:35 a.m. in the 2100 block of Princeton Pike in Lawrenceville when he observed two males on bicycles commit a traffic violation. Bystrek made contact with the Princeton males who were positively identified as Jaylin Derry-Poole, 20, and Alfred Jornegay, 31, Lawrence Township police said. Toms River Police Silence Dispute Over Handgun A dispute involving a handgun led to the arrest of a 20-year-old man from Lakehurst Borough, authorities said. Toms River police were called to Main Street Apartments about noon on Wednesday "in reference to a civil matter involving a handgun," they said. A woman told police that Jaylin Evans pointed a handgun at her during an argument. Evans then struck her in the head and pushed her into the walls of the residence, according to police.
