Serious Crash Reported On Garden State Parkway A serious crash was reported on the Garden State Parkway in Ocean County, authorities said. The crash occurred at 11:26 a.m. northbound in Eagleswood Township, New Jersey State Police said. Preliminary information indicates in the area of milepost 60.5, the driver of a Toyota RAV 4 lost control and came to rest in the roadway, according to Lt. Lawrence Peele of the State Police. There were no other vehicles involved in the crash, he said. The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries, he said. The crash remains under investigation. One left lane was blocked, according to 511nj.org.

State Police ID Toms River Man Killed In Garden State Parkway Crash A 47-year-old man from Toms River was killed in a two-car crash on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. The crash occurred at 10:10 a.m. Thursday, June 2 on parkway southbound at milepost 61.8 in Eagleswood Township, according to New Jersey State Police.  Preliminary investigation revealed that a Mercedes-Benz, operated by Frederick Esser of Toms River, was involved in a sideswipe collision with a VW Passat.  As a result of the crash, the VW ran off the road to the right and came to a stop off the right shoulder. Manahawkin Woman, 20, Dead In Horrific Garden State Parkway Crash A 20-year-old Manahawkin woman was killed after her car ran off the Garden State Parkway crash Sunday night, New Jersey State Police said. Grace Conover was heading southbound in a Chevrolet Cobalt when she ran off the road to the right near milepost 60.8 in Eagleswood Township around 9:30 p.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry said.
