Teenager Arrested In Fatal Jersey Shore Shooting: Prosecutor A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting on the Jersey Shore, authorities said. Dariel Vernet, 19, of Asbury Park was killed in the shooting, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey. The suspect's name was not released due to his age. He was charged with murder and two related weapons offenses, Linskey said.
