Man Sentenced For Sex Assault On Bally's Hotel-Casino Housekeeper In Atlantic City A 36-year-old man from New York was sentenced to 42 years in New Jersey State Prison for the 2018 aggravated sexual assault of a Bally’s Hotel and Casino housekeeper, authorities said. The sentence follows a two-week trial culminating in the conviction by an Atlantic County jury of Jamel Carlton, of Saugerties, NY, on March 31, 2022.  In addition to sexual assault, Carlton was convicted on burglary and criminal restraint charges. Prosecutor: Atlantic County Man Sexually Abused Teenager For 8 Years A 43-year-old man from South Jersey has been arrested for sexually abusing a 19-year-old woman multiple times for eight years, authorities said. The alleged sexual abuse by the Hammonton resident began when the girl was 11, according to Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner. Dan Bocelle was charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault and five additional sexual assault-related charges, Tyner said.
