A South Jersey man was sentenced to one year behind bars for killing a four-month-old Pitbull puppy. Kyle Blythe, 24, of Linwood was sentenced on Wednesday, Aug. 24 to 364 days in the Atlantic County Jail and five years of probation, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. Blythe was arrested and charged with animal cruelty following an investigation by Linwood police in December of 2020. A Galloway Township man was being held at Atlantic County Jail on accusations he had been sexually assaulting a 12-year-old family member for the better part of a decade, Breaking AC reports. New Jersey's attorney general released surveillance video Friday of an incident involving a 41-year-old Atlantic County Jail inmate who later died after being taken to a local hospital.
