Mobile Home Destroyed By Fire In South Brunswick A mobile home was destroyed by fire in South Brunswick, authorities said. The fire broke out shortly after 6 p.m. Monday May 1 in a home on Maine Street in the Monmouth Mobile Home Park off Route 1, according to South Brunswick police. When officers and firefighters arrived there was heavy smoke and visible fire at the rear of the home.  The two residents who lived there had already gotten out of the home. She knew that her husband, Jerry, and precious dog, Claire, were inside. Sadly, Claire passed away. Meanwhile, Jerry was taken to The Burn Center at St. Barnabas in Livingston. Horse Dead, Teen Girl Hurt In South Jersey Hit-Run Crash: Police A horse was killed and its 14-year-old rider hurt in a hit-and-run crash in Gloucester County, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13 on Monroeville Road in Franklin Township, police said. A girl from Sicklerville was riding along the westbound shoulder when they were struck by an unidentified older-model, light-colored pickup truck, police said. A 21-year-old man from Camden was riding a second horse but was not hurt.
