A $1,000 reward is being offered by Middlesex County Crimestoppers for tips to identify and arrest a third suspect in an attempted carjacking in Edison.

Two of three suspects in the attempted carjacking have been arrested, according to Edison Mayor Sam Joshi. A 16-year-old and 17-year-old were arrested, he said.

The attempted carjacking of a Bentley SUV occurred outside Patel Brothers grocery store on Oak Tree Road at about 5 p.m. on Friday, March 15.

The driver had the key fob in his pocket, so the teens were unable to steal the SUV.
