EARLIER STORY:
Jaginder Singh left his Carteret home just after 6:30 p.m. on Monday and hasn’t been seen since by his wife and family, according to Carteret police and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.
Singh doesn’t speak English and wasn’t carrying an identification, they said.
He was wearing a dark gray skull cap, blue hooded jacket, green short sleeve shirt, light blue jeans and brown slip-on sneakers when he left home.
Singh usually leaves his home daily, but returns at 2 p.m. for lunch, they said.
